EPO Shot

One of the side effects of Kidney problems is that your bone marrow does not produce red blood cells. This is caused by the kidney's not producing the chemical EPO. Now that i am anaemic the Dr's have asked me to get an EPO shot every two week. Today is my scheduled visit with the Dr.

Neil is busy with work today, so Craig's wife Fleur has taken me with Neil's youngest daughter Lily. Last time I had one of these shots i also had my Flu vaccine and a Vitamin D injection. I think the combination of all three injections made me feel a little off. I am hoping this time I don't feel as sick after the injection.
